J'ai beau connaitre leurs albums depuis des lustres, je suis toujours autant ébloui par le jeu de Gilmour !

Connaissais pas ce groupe américain. Un album vraiment bon entre "hard/classic rock" (Free, Bad Co...) et "rock sudiste" (Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd). Les plans de guitare et claviers très 70's sont vraiment bien distillés, parfois mêmes des cuivres, des choeurs qui font swinguer et les mélodies tant musicales que vocales qui accrochent bien les esgourdes !!!
Une bonne découverte !

On pourrait presque écrire "Dépaysant" pour qualifier le 2e album d'AURI, le projet parallèle de Tuomas Holopainen, le boss de Nightwish son épouse Johana Kurkela au chant (entre autres) et du multi-instrumentiste Troy Donockley (Nightwish itou).
Loin du Metal sympho, c'est plutôt une "promenade" vers le folk (nordique, celtique) dont il est ici question. Mais pas à la Korplklaani, ici pas de saturation, place aux belles mélodies !

This is only show where Mark St.John played a full set with Kiss, and in fact appears in the back cover photo with Bruce Kulick holding his hand as they bow to the audience after the show. Mark's first show was on the 27th of November in Baltimore, and at that show Mark played only a few songs, with Bruce Kulick playing the rest.....as well as taking his job for the remaining years KISS appeared without make-up.
