J,ai rencontré VVincent lors d'une scéance d'autographes... il a l'air distant, peu souriant!!!! Hey man! tu as pleins de jeunes autour de toi qui t'adorent !!! Pis y'es pas capable de sourire!!!

Pour moi c'est Kirk Hammett, pour sa générosité INCROYABLE...

Une terrible nouvelle vient éprouvé un fois de plus Vinnie , son épouse (bien que séparé) est décédé le 13 janvier dernier à Smyrna dans le Tennessee. toute nos condoléances accompagne Vincent Cusano dans sa peine !  

la nouvelle a été annoncé sur Kissfaq , confirmé sur le VVforum et viens d'être annonce sur Kiss news Usa

La dernière apparition de Vinnie a la télé sur Mtv en 1997 ! depuis plus aucune photos de lui ,ni d'apparition a part celle de 2011 !

il y a comme une putain de tristesse dans son regard ...... en fait le seul ex kiss qui n ai pas trop morflé c est BRUCE .

ah ouais quand même..   et alors va t-il être présent au Rock'n'roll Hall of Fame puisque soit disant tous les membres de Kiss vont y être introduit..

Ce n'est que mon avis ,mais je ne penses pas qu'il y sera ! avec le décès de son épouse + les récurrents conflits avec Gene et Paul , c'est une invitation de complaisance ,il sera honoré mais sans sa présence ,qui n'est souhaité par personne ! et je ne pense pas qu'il prenne le risque d'y allé , il sera introduit et son travail sera enfin reconnu ,et Gene et Paul seront enfin obligé de reconnaitre qu'il a été membre officiel du groupe ,chose qu'ils ont toujours nié ! donc wait and see ,il n'y a encore rien de fait !

il aurait vraiment tort de ne pas y aller.; ce serait une sacré revanche..

moi a titre perso je pense que si invitation il y a , il viendra ....... lui aussi ne rate pas une occasion de rappeler son passé avec KISS , et si il voulait vraiment repartir sur de nouvelles bases , se serait un bon début et aussi une belle revanche .

La femme de Vinnie Diane Cusano , serait morte a cause de sa dépendance a l'alcool , son organisme n'a pas tenu le coup face a son alcoolisme chronique. (officiel)

Toutes mes condoléances à Vinnie et ainsi qu'à tous ses proches.

Et je suis tout à fait d'accord avec les différents commentaires de Domm.

Oui, il doit être intronisé, comme tous les autres, et même si cela emmerde Paul et Gene de le reconnaitre, Vinnie a remis Kiss sur le vélo, et sans lui, le groupe aurait peut-être disparu après Killers.

retrouvé ce matin dans un vieux "best" .

Dans le nouveau guitar world magazine ,Paul et Gene s'exprime sur Vinnie ,et sur le fait que Eric Carr et Vinnie Vincent n'auraient pas du avoir de nouveau maquillage ,mais reprendre le Cat et le Spaceman (Paul réécrit l'histoire ,sachant qu'a l'époque les maquillages appartenaient encore a Peter et Ace )





Paul Stanley: Vinnie had an incredible touch and an incredible knowledge of the guitar. But left to his own devices he'd hang himself. For somebody who could play so brilliantly and so tastefully, it became more about how much he could play rather than what he played. And, ultimately, I couldn't understand what he chose to play. And that's not taking into account all the other stuff about hymn, which I think haas been well documented.

Gene Simmons: He was a much more accomplished musician [than Ace Frehley]. Understood some jazz. Could play faster. He was a big fan of all that sort of hurricane machine-gun stuff. But he was not as pure in his personality. We wrote "I Love It Loud" together, although he hated me for telling him what to play in the solo. But the guy could write songs. The guy could sing. He could play rings around most anybody. But with all due respect to Vinnie, it was a fucking nightmare. And it continues to be. That guy sued us 14 times and lost 14 times. But I wouldn't wish his life on anybody. He's had a lot of grief. A lot of trouble. And I feel sad that he didn't understand the gift and the opportunity he was given.



Paul Says Vinnie/Eric Should Have Been Spaceman/Catman


Excerpt from Paul's new interview in "Guitar World":

As far as navigating the icebergs, as KISS' popularity declined, it was your idea, in 1983, to take off the makeup in order to reinvigorate interest in the band.
Paul Stanley: I didn't see any other choice at that point. And I take my hat off to Gene that, although he was uncertain about it and maybe less comfortable with it, he came to realize that it was the right move. Or at least he saw that I was very committed to the idea. I felt that we had diluted everything the band was to the point where it was becoming a farce. What happened was, we kicked Peter out of the band -- "we" meaning Ace, Gene and myself. But rather than saying, "We've built these iconic figures together and we're going on to continue on with what we build,t' we bought into the idea of, "We have to have a new character." That watered it down. Some people may argue with me, but I feel that Batman is Batman whether he's played by George Clooney, Christian Bale, Val Kilmer and on and on.

So are you saying that when Eric Carr replaced Peter and Vinnie Vincent replaced Ace, you feel they should have come into the band as the Catman and the Spaceman, respectively?
PS: Absolutely.

Was there ever talk of doing that?
PS: No. Never. So to suddenly have the Fox, who takes the place of the Cat, and the Ankh, who takes the place of the Spaceman...it just din't hold. And then couple that with the music we were making, which was marginal at best. Although we were giving 100 percent, when you're more involved with who you're hanging out with and the social drama that you;re in, you wind up gumming things. Your teeth don't bite anymore.

Where do you feel that things got back on track for the band?
PS: "Creatures Of The Night." I wanted us to take the makeup off for that record. But we missed the opportunity, and it was met with a tepid response. But by "Lick It Up" Gene was willing to do it. And coincidentally tha talcum sold, I don't know, seven times what [Creatures] did.
