Kissology Volume One: 1974–1977 comprehensive DVD 1 of 2 was released by Kiss on October 31, 2006. The two-disc ultimate Kiss collection set was certified 5× platinum by the RIAA in the US.
Kissology features the classic band members line-up of Paul Stanley – lead and backing vocals, rhythm guitar (1973–present), Gene Simmons – lead and backing vocals, bass (1973–present), Ace Frehley – lead guitar, backing and lead vocals (1973–1982, 1996–2002), and Peter Criss – drums, backing and lead vocals (1973–1980, 1996–2001, 2002–2004). The other current members are Eric Singer – drums, backing and lead vocals (1991–1996, 2001−2002, 2004–present), and Tommy Thayer – lead guitar, backing, and lead vocals (2002–present).
