Here's two great KISS songs from the LP "Smashes Thrashes and Hits".  They were the only two new songs on the compilation released in 1988. I linked the two songs together, and they do work very well like that. Performed at the Stardust Theatre on KKX in November of 2021.

"Jungle" from the KISS LP Carnival of Souls, was the radio single from that release. I always loved the ending where I could stretch out and jam with the band. It was one of my 9 co-writes on my last KISS record. It was always played with my band UNION as well. Here's a great version with my Kruise band. Todd Kerns sings, and as he states, half of UNION is playing the song live on the KKX.

Here’s the closing 2 songs from KKX Set 2, from my super band. Zach Throne sings Spit, and we go into SSB "KISS Alive III" style. It was an epic performance on the KISS Kruise, so much fun for us. Todd Kerns, Brent Fitz and Zach were amazing, and more of these kinds of gigs are coming in 2022 and 2023!

This is my 2nd attempt at fixing this particular recording, and while it definitely isn't perfect, it is at least closer than it was before, now at near enough the correct speed... Yes, some of these late 1977 shows were very fast! Anyway, this show is without a doubt one of the best shows available from this time period, Meat Loaf is unstoppable, Joe Stefko is on fire, as is most of the band, Bruce Kulick's solos are really coming through here, and we even have the full set. The lineage of this recording is quite a mystery but the show was probably broadcast on KSAN (who were known to air shows from this particular venue), taped and then later released online and bootlegged... I personally have to thank Ad and Chris for procuring me with this show!

No matter how we ended up with this recording, I'm just glad that we did, as this show is an important document of Meat Loaf's legacy, and a 1977 recording is forever welcome. For a while there was some debate on the date of this show, with the bootleg often erroneously dated to September 1978, but we now know this show comes from the 2nd night of two shows at the Old Waldorf in December 1977. With all of that said, enjoy - and thanks again to Ad for creating the bootleg cover.

Meat Loaf and the Neverland Express performing an awesome, nearly half-hour long version of this classic! Featuring extended intros by Bob Kulick, Bruce Kulick, Steve Buslowe, Paul Glanz and the great solo by Joe Stefko. Recorded June 11th 1978 at the Stadthalle in Offenbach, Germany. Released via Eagle Rock in 2009, this is a better looking version than already on here, and isn't sourced from the bootleg, enjoy :-). Features Jim Steinman on piano.
