The Police - Spirits In The Material World
- LYRICS -
There is no political solution To our troubled evolution Have no faith in constitution There is no bloody revolution
We are spirits in the material world Are spirits in the material world
Our so-called leaders speak With words they try to jail you They subjugate the meek But it's the rhetoric of failure
We are spirits in the material world Are spirits in the material world
Where does the answer lie? Living from day to day If it's something we can't buy There must be another way
We are spirits in the material world Are spirits in the material world

The Police - Every Breath You Take (Official Video)
Lyrics:
Every breath you take and every move you make Every bond you break, every step you take, I'll be watching you Every single day, every word you say Every game you play, every night you stay, I'll be watching you
Oh can't you see, you belong to me How my poor heart aches with every step you take
Every move you make and every vow you break Every smile you fake, every claim you stake, I'll be watching you
Since you've gone I've been lost without a trace I dream at night I can only see your face I look around, but it's you I can't replace I feel so cold and I long for your embrace I keep crying baby, baby, please
Oh can't you see, you belong to me How my poor heart aches with every step you take
Every move you make and every vow you break Every smile you fake, every claim you stake, I'll be watching you Every move you make, every step you take, I'll be watching you
I'll be watching you (Every breath you take, every move you make) (Every bond you break, every step you take) I'll be watching you (Every single day, every word you say) (Every game you play, every night you stay) I'll be watching you (Every move you make, every vow you break) (Every smile you fake, every claim you stake) I'll be watching you (Every single day, every word you say) (Every game you play, every night you stay) I'll be watching you (Every breath you take, every move you make) (Every bond you break, every step you take) I'll be watching you (Every single day, every word you say) (Every game you play, every night you stay) I'll be watching you (Every move you make, every vow you break) (Every smile you fake, every claim you stake) I'll be watching you x 2 (Every single day, every word you say) (Every game you play, every night you stay) I'll be watching you

The Police - Wrapped Around Your Finger
- LYRICS -
You consider me the young apprentice Caught between the Scylla and Charibdis Hypnotized by you if I should linger Staring at the ring around your finger
I have only come here seeking knowledge Things they would not teach me of in college I can see the destiny you sold Turn into a shining band of gold
I'll be wrapped around your finger I'll be wrapped around your finger
Mephistopheles is not your name But I know what you're up to just the same I will listen hard to your tuition And you will see it come to its fruition
I'll be wrapped around your finger I'll be wrapped around your finger
Devil and the deep blue sea behind me Vanish in the air you'll never find me I will turn your flesh to alabaster When you find your servant is your master
And you'll be wrapped around my finger

The Police - Synchronicity II
- LYRICS -
Another suburban family morning Grandmother screaming at the wall We have to shout above the din of our Rice Krispies We can't hear anything at all Mother chants her litany of boredom and frustration But we know all her suicides are fake Daddy only stares into the distance There's only so much more that he can take Many miles away Something crawls from the slime At the bottom of a dark Scottish lake
Another industrial ugly morning The factory belches filth into the sky He walks unhindered through the picket lines today He doesn't think to wonder why The secretaries pout and preen like Cheap tarts in a red light street But all he ever thinks to do is watch And every single meeting with his so-called superior Is a humiliating kick in the crotch Many miles away Something crawls to the surface Of a dark Scottish loch
Another working day has ended Only the rush hour hell to face Packed like lemmings into shiny metal boxes Contestants in a suicidal race Daddy grips the wheel and stares alone into the distance He knows that something somewhere has to break He sees the family home now looming in his headlights The pain upstairs that makes his eyeballs ache Many miles away There's a shadow on the door Of a cottage on the shore Of a dark Scottish lake Many miles away, many miles away

The Police - King of Pain (music video)
(HQ digital stereo remaster) Before anyone accuses me of fraud, this really is the official music video released in Australia for "King Of Pain". It was shown on the iconic ABC music programme "Countdown" on 11 March 1984. It is as an edited version of The Police's album promo film "Studies In Synchronicity". The ABC's "Countdown" was so powerful in the music industry in the '80s that it alone could make or break songs and artists - no video, no promotion, no chance. So A&M had little choice but to put this together in order to promote this song in Australia, the fourth single from the "Synchronicity" album. That makes it an official music video. I don't know if it was shown anywhere else in the world.

The Police Can't Stand Losing You Live HD 1978 OGWT
The Police is Sting on bass/lead vocals, Andy Summers on guitar and Stewart Copeland on drums. The reggae rock power trio performs Can't Stand Losing You live on the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1978.
From The Police 1978 debut album Outlandos d'Amour, Can't Stand Losing You was the follow-up single to "Roxanne", reaching number 2 in the UK Singles Chart in 1979. Sting's composition is about teenage suicide. The Police controversial single cover art, featuring Stewart Copeland hanging himself, got the song banned by the BBC. Despite or because of this, the single became The Police breakout hit on the music charts.

The Police - Can't Stand Losing You • TopPop
"Can't Stand Losing You" is a song by English rock band The Police, taken from their debut album 'Outlandos d'Amour' in 1978 and written by Sting, Police's singer and bassplayer. It was the follow-up single to "Roxanne", their first big hit. It reached number 2 in the UK Singles Chart in 1979.
The Police were a British band, extremely popular in the late 70s and early 80s. With Sting (nickname of Gordon Sumner) as lead singer, guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland, the 3 men had their first two hits in 1979: 'So Lonely' (which reached number 31 in the Dutch Top 40) and 'Roxanne' (which reached 21). In the same year, they broke through with 'Can't Stand Losing You' ( number 9), followed by 'Message In A Bottle' (which even peaked at number 2). The fifth Police hit, 'Walking On The Moon' released at the end of that year, then made it to the top 10 at the beginning of 1980 by staying for two weeks on 9.
This clip was first broadcast on Toppop on 13 September 1979
